Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and brother-in-law, passed away Friday, May 23, 2014 at his residence with his family at his side. Salvador was born in Houston, Texas January 21, 1928 the son of the late Nazario and Maria (Oros) Guerra. He married Juanita Ramirez January 6, 1962 and she survives him. Salvador worked for General Motors for 34 years, retiring in 1989. He was associated with Jehovah's Witness. In addition to his wife, Juanita, Salvador is survived by two daughters and three sons, and their spouses, Mary Anita (Francisco) Eguia, Saginaw, Graciela (Jerry) Kuchar, Burt, Salvador (Dinah) Guerra, Jr., Saginaw, Reynaldo (Carolynn) Guerra, St. Charles and Ramiro (Anna) Guerra, Saginaw; 14 grandchildren, Rebekah Marie DeLaGarza, Birch Run, Salvador Salestino (Deanna) Guerra, Carlos Guerra, Sara Elisa Guerra, all of Saginaw, Nazario Guerra, San Antonio, Texas, Crystal Rosario Guerra, Saginaw, Reynaldo Guerra, Jr., Kellar, Texas, Katrina Mendoza, Kennedale, Texas, Marcelino Guerra, Saginaw, Arianna Reylynn Guerra, Jacob Santino Guerra, both of St. Charles, Noel Torres (Guerra), Hannahlee Victoria Guerra and Ramiro Guerra, Jr., all of Saginaw; 18 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Marcelino Cata Guerra, Gto., Mexico, Claudio Guerra, Durango, Mexico, Roberto (Marta) Guerra, Cd., Mexico, Artemio Julia Guerra, Gto., Mexico, Ruben Guerra, Cd., Mexico and Lupe (JoseLuis) Brena, Cd., Mexico; a nephew, whom he loved as a son, Robert Ramirez, Jr. and many other relatives and close friends. He was predeceased by a grandson, Ricardo Bernal DeLaGarza, Jr., his mother-in-law, Juanita M. Ramirez; two brothers-in-law, Carlos Ramirez and Jose Ramirez (Little Joe). The funeral service will take place 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at W. L. Case & Company, 4480 mackinaw Rd. Mr. Art Jimenez will officiate with burial to follow in Eastlawn memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at the chapel Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service. The family would like to express a special thank-you to Maggie and Albert Garcia for their help.
