Sandra Denno

Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at HealthSource of Saginaw. She was 75 years old. Sandra Kay Kelly was born on May 21, 1943 in Saginaw to the late Kenneth LeRoy and Constance Audrey (Pressley) Kelly. She was a proud 1961 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. Sandy worked for various insurance companies in different capacities for many years. Later in life, Sandy attended Delta College and became a certified phlebotomist. She was an avid reader and enjoyed shopping and traveling, often thinking about the next family vacation. When Sandy walked into a room she immediately became the center of attention. With her excellent sense of humor and strong sense of justice, Sandy had an amazing ability to socialize with anyone. She loved cooking, family gatherings and her cats. Sandys greatest accomplishment was being a single mother. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly and they will forever remember her. Surviving are two daughters and one son, Kelly Denno and her husband, Paul Johnson of Chapel Hill, NC, Traci (Sam) Nacarato of Saginaw and Kevin (Jodi) Denno of Flushing, MI; six grandchildren: Dominic and Ally Nacarato, Luke and Abbi Denno, and Juliana and Claudia Johnson; one sister, Patricia Graham of Fairfield, Ca; and a dear cousin, Shirley Yancer of Saginaw. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, James and Kenneth Kelly. A private graveside service will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the chapel of Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 950 N. Center Ave on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Lewy Body Dementia Association or to the Amazing Grace Animal Rescue.
