Sandra J. Kolevar Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully at home, with her family by her side, on May 31, 2017, at the age of 70 years. Sandra was born August 13, 1946, in Bay City to the late Syble (Jones) and Alfred Pross. She attended a one room school house until 6th grade and graduated from Standish-Sterling High School. She married her high school sweetheart, David John Kolevar, on July 16, 1966. They recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. She recalled the best memories of her youth were working alongside her dad on the farm she grew up on. Her main joy and priority in life was her family. She put her heart into everything she did and that attentiveness is what made her special to all that loved her. After raising her children, she put her passion into Mary Kay Consulting and personalizing the care she provided to each of her clients. She also expanded her homemaking into taking care of the Hall family and their children Megan and Emily. She was fondly known as being "Grama K" to her grandchildren and the Daycare kids. She enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers, boating, cooking, baking, music, and animals. She was a member of Eagles 497 ladies auxiliary. She will be dearly missed by her husband; her children, Scott (Shelly) Kolevar, Jason (Nicole) Kolevar, and Jennifer (Jim) Edler; grandchildren, Justin, Scott Jr., Madison, and Brooke Kolevar; sister, Joanne (Ken Jameson) Pross; niece, Annalise Jameson; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann (Phil) Pelton, and Pat Dwyer; brothers-in-law, Bob (Judy) Kolevar and David McSkulin; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Norman "Bear" Pross; parents-in-law, Joseph and Pearl Kolevar; and brother-in-law, John Dwyer. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 5, 2017, at W.L. Case & Company 201 N. Miller Rd. Rev. Ken MacGillivary will officiate with private burial in St. Andrew Cemetery.
