Sandra Lou Babcock

Passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016, at Wellspring of Frankenmuth, age 71 years. Sandra was born on January 4, 1945, the daughter of Betty (Prueter) and the late Robert Hauk, in Saginaw. She married Gerald Edward Babcock on May 6, 1967. He predeceased her on October 7, 2015. Sandra enjoyed completing crossword puzzles, puzzles, collecting hummingbird and carousel figurines. She had traveled with her husband to Italy and the Bahamas. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. Sandra will always be remembered by her fun loving spirit and life. Surviving besides her mother, Betty (Prueter) Hauk, are Sandra's sons, Steven (Candace) Babcock and David (Judy) Babcock; her grandchildren, Alicia and Thomas Babcock, Jesse and Jennifer Holcomb, Amber and Ashley Babcock; her great grandson, Matthew; soon to be great grandchild; her brothers, Randy (Patricia) Hauk, Rick (Lynn) Hauk; her sister, Brenda (Larry) North; her brothers-in-law, Donald (Rena) Babcock, Gary (Diana) Ranke, Birch Run and Wallace Ranke, Sebewaing. Besides her husband and father, she was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Bruce Babcock, her grandparents Richard and Esther Hauk, and Henry and Caroline Prueter. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 17, 2016 at W. L. Case and Company, 5700 Dixie Highway. Rev. James Chinery will officiate with burial in Birch Run Township Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, June 16, 2016, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
