Sandra Sue Kahn of Saginaw Michigan, aged 72, born January 4, 1944 in Monroe Michigan, and daughter of the late Virgil Lafayette Lamb and late Bonnie Charity (McLellan) Lamb, passed on September 24, 2016. She is survived by her four children: Joseph (J.A.) Albert Kahn, Roger (Ari) Ewing Kahn, Heather Alaine Kahn and Bonnie Edythe Kahn Ognisanti. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren: Rebecca Lynn, Emma Jo, Hannah Elizabeth and Sarah Elizabeth Kahn; Isaac Hiro and Caleb Akira Kahn; Mary Ellen (M.E.) and Autumn Brook Michels; Gavin Wallace and Madeline McLellan McIntosh and Mia Ruth Ognisanti. She has six brothers and sisters: Roderick (Delores) Lamb (deceased), Ava (Leo) Norman, Roger (Pearl) Lamb, Vera (the late Frank) Miller, Bonnie (Bill) Sype and Glenda (Charles) Kennon. She is survived by her former husband Roger Newman Kahn, her long term companion Shiv Kumar Arora and the many lives she touched and mentored. Sandra enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren working and playing outdoors at her property. She was an avid political supporter and mentor. She was also a life master bridge player. Sandra has a master's degree in communication and bachelors in English from Michigan State University and graduated with honors from Monroe High School (1962). Sandra had many roles in her life. She was a member of the Republican Women's Federation of Michigan, encompassing 27 Michigan Clubs, and served two terms as President, two terms as Treasurer, and one term as Assistant Treasurer. She was a member of the Saginaw County Republican Women's Club during which time she served two terms as Club President, one term as Treasurer, one term as Recording Secretary, and one term as Corresponding Secretary. She served for the Saginaw County Republican Executive Committee as Recording Secretary and Precinct Delegate Chair. Sandra began her career as a High School teacher, retirement plan administrator and medical office manager. Sandra asked that memorial services be held the summer of 2017 when a private party can be organized for her dear family and friends.
