Santino “Tino” Jose Garcia of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 23, 2022. He was 27 years old. Santino Jose Garcia was born on June 22, 1994, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Jose Pena Garcia and Delmira Ramos. Tino was a fun loving, free spirited, and beautiful soul who could often win over the hearts of all through his smile and laughter. He proudly perfected the art of creating “the perfect michelada”, which were made at all family gatherings. Tino was charming, had excellent fashion sense, and loved being the life of the party at all family gatherings, especially this past Easter. He had an old soul, found peace in listening to classic Motown and R&B music, and could captivate the attention of through singing. A poet at heart, Tino eloquently crafted his words to write some amazingly beautiful poems. Throughout his life, he held a deep and special bond with his late grandfather, Anastacio Ramos, and fondly enjoyed sharing all the memories they made together. The role of Tino’s lifetime was to be a devoted boyfriend, loving father, and treasured family man. He left his indelible mark on this world through kindness and compassion, his ability to befriend anyone, and for always being a priceless, profound, and remarkable young man.
Surviving are his girlfriend, Fabiola Abarca of Goshen, IN; three children: Aaliyah, Santino, and Harmony Garcia all of Goshen, IN; parents: Delmira Ramos of Saginaw; Jose (Sandra) Garcia of Joliet, IL; ten siblings: Cierra Garcia, Jose Garcia, Jr., Paul Garcia, Jon Garcia, Thiago Garcia, Armando Ramos, Mya Ramos, Angelo Ramos, and Frank Gomez; grandparents: Rita Nino Ramos of Saginaw; Lucio and Rosemary Granados of Chicago Ridge, IL; nieces and nephews: Shai, Javion, Jari, Cinsere, Cashmere, Maya, Violet, Ariel, Gino, and Julian; special second mother, Bianca Charles of Elkhart, IN. Also surviving are many loving aunts and uncles, special cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Anastacio Ramos; three aunts, Rosa Campbell, Maria G. Ramos, and Mary W. Ramos; and two cousins, Rolando Ramos and Jesse James.
A funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2022, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Pastor Scott Cowling will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
