Scott Stockford

Passed away suddenly Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at the age of 60 years. Donald "Scott" Stockford was born August 25, 1953, in Saginaw to the late Carl and Eva (Strunk) Stockford. He married Janie Sparling on September 27, 1975, and they enjoyed 38 years of marriage. Scott had many talents and interests, including taxidermy, playing his bass guitar, and restoring old cars. He acquired a very large arrowhead collection, many of which were found along the Saginaw River. He was especially loved by all of Janie's daycare kids. Scott is survived by his wife, Janie, and a sister and her spouse, Christie and John Wainwright. His parents-in-law, Warren and Ruby Sparling predeceased him. In accordance with Scott's wishes, cremation has taken place and further services are not planned. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy may consider the charity of their choice.
