Sharon Kay Browne of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease on Thursday, April 30, 2020, at Edgewood Assisted Living. She was 75 years old. Sharon Kay Browne was born on August 5, 1944, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Morley George and Muriel Maxine (Lonsway) Browne. She was a proud 1962 graduate of St. Charles High School. Following graduation, Sharon began a 30 year career as a Machine Operator with Eaton Manufacturing. She was selfless and an excellent caregiver to her cherished mother and grandmother. Sharon’s true passion was cheering for her favorite teams the Detroit Tigers, Lions, and Redwings. Another passion for was for her love for animals, especially her treasured dogs, Lulu and Princess.
Surviving are a brother, Charles (Ruth) Browne of Hemlock; one niece, Kelly Latty of Hemlock; one nephew, Charlie (Karen) Browne of Fife Lake; three great-nieces: Jessica (Ryan) Root, Katie (Mikey) Ostrom, Ashley (Trace) Hughston; one great-nephew, Matthew (Shelby) Latty; three great-great-nephews; and one great-great-niece.
She was preceded in death by a nephew, Troy Browne; and a great-nephew, Joseph Browne.
Due to the worldwide health pandemic, private entombment has taken place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Saginaw County Humane Society, Parkinson’s Foundation, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
