Sharon Luttie Weigandt-Briggs

WEIGANDT-BRIGGS, Sharon Luttie Saginaw, Michigan Passed away March 20, 2018 at age 75. She was born February 3, 1943 to the late Henry and Luttie (Simmons) Miller of Saginaw, Michigan. Sharon was a beloved Mother, Sister, Grand and Great Grandmother and Friend. Sharon was predeceased by her husband of 27 years, Ted Edward Briggs. Sharon is survived by her children, Daniel H. Weigandt (Lyn) of Saginaw, Marcie L. Mielke (Ron) of Pinconning and Len P. Weigandt (Donald G. VanWagner II) of Saginaw. Sharon shared a special bond with her brother David Miller (Rita) of Saline, Ml. Sharon was predeceased by her loving brother Larry Miller of Grand Rapids, Ml. She cared deeply for Larry's surviving spouse, Ellen Miller. Sharon cherished time with grandchildren; Karly Mielke, Kyle Mielke, John Weigandt (deceased), Daniel Weigandt (Stephanie) and great grandchildren; Abby Labeff and Rudy Pilar. Her life was fulfilled with her lifelong friends, Sharon and Leo Kernstock, Diane and Clarence Beyerlein, and Becky and Gary Simons. She loved her many cats throughout her life most recently, Stella, Fuzzy and Angel. Sharon was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School and lived her entire life in Saginaw, Ml. She was a member of the Saginaw Wesleyan Church where she found her faith and enjoyed fellowship. Sharon faced many challenges throughout her life, but was always caring, giving and accepting of everyone. She tended to several late family members and continually honored their memory. Please join her family for remembrance at W.L. Case & Company Funeral Home, 4480 Mackinaw, Saginaw, Ml on Friday, March 23rd from 5 to 8 p.m. and at church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the service. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 24th at the Saginaw Wesleyan Church, 2125 Shattuck Rd., Saginaw, Ml at 11:00 am followed by burial services at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, Saginaw, Ml.
