Sharon Louise Murray

Sharon Louise Murray passed away on December 08, 2023, at the age of 86 years. Sharon was born on September 05, 1937, in Saginaw, MI to Avenon and Mary Louise LaFond.

She was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed bowling, working in the yard, Bingo and Euchre. She also enjoyed relaxing on her glider, watching neighborhood activities and bird watching.

Sharon retired as a Surgical Technician for St. Lukes Hospital (Now Covenant-Cooper), after many years of service. Sharon is survived by her children, Deborah (Michael) Sander of Hemlock, MI, Joy (Michael) Burdo of Hemlock, MI, Robert Jr. (Brenda) Murray of Jacksonville, FL, Tammy Murray-Herber of Grand Haven, MI, Sherry (Dennis) Miller of Thomas Twp., MI, Robin (Ron II) Dorr-Gilginas of Hemlock, MI; grandchildren, Angela (Greg) Martin, Christopher Sander, Amy (Joe) Burch, Jennifer Warner, Robert (Abby) Burdo, Kristine (Kevin) Perryman, Karen (Erik) Wilhelm, Kelly (Kenneth) Sly, Jason Murray, Todd (Shelby) Herber, Blayne Herber, Amanda (Ron ) Stauffer, Andrea (Jon) Randall, Arin (Adam) Proux, Alyssa Murray, Aly Fuller, Nate Fuller; twenty-nine great grandchildren; one sister, Jo-Ann Gerard; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Joyce Storm, and Mike & Margaret Casale. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Murray Sr.; her parents Avenon and Mary Louise Lafond; two sisters, Mary Denise Coven and Sue Kline.

 Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 11, 2023, at W.L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 201 N Miller Rd, Saginaw, MI 48609. A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Christ Lutheran Church, 8795 Ederer Rd, Saginaw, MI 48609, where friends may visit with the family from 10:30 a.m. until time of the service.
