Shirley A. Sahr (Wilson)

Shirley A. Sahr (Wilson) Coldwater, Michigan Formerly of Saginaw Passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at The Laurel's in Coldwater. Age 80 years. The daughter of the late Frederick and Meta (Kischnick) Sahr was born August 29, 1933 in Reese, Michigan. She graduated from Saginaw High School, attended the University of Michigan and received her Bachelor's degree from Saginaw Valley State University in Micro Biology. She was employed by St. Mary's Hospital for over 30 years, retiring in 1993. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. Shirley enjoyed genealogy, was a member of the Saginaw Genealogy Society and enjoyed gardening. Surviving are two daughters, one son and their spouses, Marcia and Kevin Kennett, Midland, MI; Julie Wilson, Austin, TX; Jeffrey and Cindy Wilson, Angola, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Eric and Jennifer Wilson; Mackenzie, Michael and Molly Woodman; Chance and Shannon Wylie; three great grandchildren, Cameron, Carter and Ashton Wilson; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Darlene Sahr, Reese, MI. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 16, 2013, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Saginaw. Rev. Edward W. Meyer will officiate.
