Shirley Ann Collison

Passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016, at her home. Age 87 years. The daughter of the late Frank and Pearl (Small) Sovia was born March 10, 1929 in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Holy Family High School. She married John Collison, June 25, 1949. He passed away January 31, 2007. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and it's Altar Society. She enjoyed crocheting and her family. Surviving are 7 children and their spouses, Christine Perry; John Collison Jr; Linda Collison; Gary and Mary Collison; David Collison; Brian and Beth Collison; Jeff Collison; Nancy Owens who she thought of as her daughter; seven grandchildren; one great granddaughter; a brother, Frank Sovia; several nieces, nephews; two God-daughters, Mary Jo Sieggreen; Debbie Gaus. She was predeceased by a sister and brother-in-law Frances (Peggy) and Tom Gulliford, a son-in-law, Jim Perry, and a sister-in-law, Kay Sovia. The funeral mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2016, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1525 S. Washington Ave. Rev. Ronald J. Dombrowski will officiate assisted by Deacon Roger Pasionek with cremation to follow. Friends may call at the Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral liturgy.
