Shirley Ann Noel

Noel, Shirley Ann Bridgeport, MI Passed away Monday, December 30, 2013 at her home, age 74 years. Shirley was born in Saginaw, Michigan May 13, 1939, the daughter of the late Henry and Amelia (Brethauer) Uhrich. Shirley worked for many years at Thomas White School as a teacher's aide to Mrs. Horn and an adoptive grandmother to many of the children. She was a member of Bridgeport Community Church and the Foster Grandparent Program at Thomas White. She loved tending to her flowers and her gardens, reading and traveling to visit her friends. Shirley is survived by four children, Vicky (Jesse) Page, William (Heather Miller) Noel, Holly Romanelli and Linda (Mike) Zietz; nine grandchildren, Robert, Jason, Jessie, Amber (Dustin), Hunter, Debra, Leah, Laci and Elizabeth; three great-grandchildren, Cayden, Abigail and Hailey; two brothers, Henry (Beverly) Uhrich and Reinhold (Darlean) Uhrich; a sister, Molly Uhrich; several loved and cherished nieces and nephews and many loved god-children. She was predeceased by a son, Thomas Frank Noel; a great-grandson, Thomas Christopher; four brothers and two sisters. The funeral service will take place 12:00 noon Monday, January 6, 2014 at Bridgeport Community Church, 3821 State St., Bridgeport. Rev. Ron Sinclair will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at the church Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service.
