Shirley Ann (Pinet) Menapace

Shirley Ann (Pinet) Menapace Lansing, Michigan Formerly of Saginaw Shirley was received into God's arms, May 16, 2015, in Lansing, Michigan. The daughter of the late Alfred and Ann Pinet, Shirley was born November 30, 1923 in Saginaw, Michigan. Shirley attended grades 1-12 at St. Mary's Catholic School and graduated in 1942. She married Michael J. Menapace, June 21, 1947. He predeceased her. Shirley was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral and was committed to serving her Heavenly Father, her family and serving others as she enjoyed taking Holy Communion to shut-ins for several years. Shirley was preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael, and her sister and best friend, Lois Jean. She is survived by her five loving children, James A. (Judy) Menapace; Marianne (Joseph) Henika, all of Lansing, MI; Michael M. (Kim) Menapace, Clio, MI; Scott J. (Judy) Menapace, Reese, MI; Troy A. Menapace, Saginaw, MI; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren. Private services will be held. Shirley's family wish to express heartfelt thanks to her caregivers, her daughter, Marianne, the staff at Brookdale Senior Living Delta and Great Lakes Caring Hospice, for the special loving care provided.
