Shirley Ann Zeros

Beloved wife, mother and nana passed away suddenly at her home on Thursday, April 23, 2020; at the age of 89 years. The daughter of the late Andy and Minnie (Klenke) Mason, Shirley was born on November 13, 1930 in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School with the Class of 1948. Shirley married the love of her life, R. Ronald “Ron” Zeros, on April 10, 1954 in Angola, Indiana; he preceded her in death on June 27, 2019. She served as the President of the Lady Kiwanis Club. Shirley was a member of the Germania Town and Country Club. She enjoyed gardening as a member of the Garden club. Shirley enjoyed golfing and bowling. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family, Shirley was a caring and loving wife, mother and nana.

Surviving are one son: Thomas Zeros of Saginaw Township; one daughter: Suzanne (William) Waack of Auburn Hills; three granddaughters: Adrianna, Alexandria and Andrea Waack of Auburn Hills; two brothers: Jack (Sharon) Mason of Houston, TX; Ronald (Frankie) Mason of FL. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Shirley was preceded in death by a sister: Carol (John) Stanulis; and a brother: Donald Mason.

Due to the worldwide health pandemic, private family service has taken place at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw. Deacon Jeff Rauschert officiated with burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may consider memorials to Alzheimer’s Association or a charity of your choice.
