Passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016, at Covenant-Cooper. Age 88 years. The daughter of the late Beulah (Graham) and Albert Burdo was born September 23, 1927 in Freeland, Michigan. She married Kenneth R. Hall, November 8, 1946. He passed away March 14, 1995. Mr. and Mrs. Hall engaged in farming for many years and Shirley had also been employed by Tom's Party Store. Shirley had resided in Harrison for over 30 years and was an active member of St. Luke Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir, acapella, and enjoyed making mittens for missionaries. Currently, she was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Hemlock. She enjoyed quilting. Surviving are 6 children and their spouses, Marian and James Martin; Robert and Max Hall; Peter and Sheryl Hall; Albert and Dawn Hall; James and Denise Hall; Jean and John Tuttle; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; two brothers and their wives, Roy and Joyce Burdo; Don and Rosemary Burdo; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Burdo; many nieces and nephews. A grandson, Derek Hall, two brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert and Barb Burdo and Ray Burdo have predeceased her. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 12, 2016, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 2461 N. Raucholz Rd. Hemlock. Rev. Michael Schaedig and Dr. William L. Morris will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel 201 N. Miller Rd. from 1:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday and then on Monday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
