Shirley Irene St. Charles

St. Charles, Shirley Irene Saginaw, MI Passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015 at the age of 87 years. Shirley was born in Saginaw, Michigan June 23, 1927 the daughter of the late John and Jessie (Doutre) Holvey. Shirley was an active member of Calvary Community Church in Bridgeport. She was an avid bowler. She enjoyed travelling, camping and fishing. She was an accomplished seamstress, including embroidering and she enjoyed baking her own bread. Shirley is survived by four children, Sharon Near, Gloria Walton, Penny Hernandez and William St. Charles; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Shirley was predeceased by her two husbands, Bernie Hall and Leonard St. Charles; her son, Bernie Hall, Jr.; two daughters, Cathy Hatfield and Betty Walton; a grandson, Marcos Hernandez; a granddaughter, Angie Fath a great-great-granddaughter, Audrey Reinert and seven siblings. The funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 8, 2015 at W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway. Rev. Ted Doolittle will officiate with burial to follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at the chapel Wednesday from 2:00 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from10.00 a.m. until time of the service.
