Shirley Jean Goodman

Goodman, Shirley Jean Boon, Michigan formerly of Bridgeport, MI Passed away on Friday, November 1, 2013 at Spectrum Health Care in Reed City at the age of 75 years. Shirley was born on December 29, 1937 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Leonard and Olga (Hoffman) Carbeno. She married Jerry Goodman on August 30, 1975; he survives her. She retired from GM and enjoyed fishing, painting and refinishing furniture. Surviving besides her husband Jerry are her step-daughter Roxanne Goodman, granddaughter Jodi Lucias, two great-grandchildren, sisters: Marlene Gothan, Lorraine Mendyk, daughter-in-law Yvonne Kolinski and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Leonard Kolinski, Jr., step-son, Roger Goodman, sister Dorothy Strickland, and two brothers: Mel Carbeno and Jerry Carbeno. Funeral service will take place at 6:00 p.m. Monday, November 4, 2013 at W. L. Case and Company, 5700 Dixie Highway. Rev. Kim Frank will officiate with cremation to follow.
