Shirley Jean Stoney

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the age of 84 years. The daughter of the late Merritt H. and Luella A. (Zimmerman) Wiley was born on July 20, 1935 in Saginaw. She worked for Frank Polasky, attorney, as a secretary, retiring after 55 years of service. Shirley enjoyed time spent with her family, most especially her grandchildren. Surviving are her children: Scott (Janet) Stoney, Julie (Greg) Wurtz, her cherished granddaughter, whom she was very close with, Aimee (Sam) Wardin, her other beloved grandchildren: Scott Stoney, Chad Stoney, Brendan Stoney, Casey (Jenny) Stoney, Daniel Stoney, Megan (Jake) Bishop, Kirsten Stoney, Allison Stoney, 10 great-grandchildren and her brother Merritt Wiley. Besides her parents, Shirley was predeceased by her long-time companion, George Bujouves. Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Fr. Joseph Schabel will officiate with burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday at the funeral chapel from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
