Passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Hoyt Nursing Home. Age 75 years.
Shirley Judd was born in Chesaning on June 24, 1938 to the late Ganson and Ann Marie (Skodak) Judd. She was self-employed for many years as a private home care provider and later worked as a CNA for 10 years for Primary Care. Shirley was an avid gardener, loved listening to Christian music or watching Christian TV, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved baking, particularly cookies. Shirley was an individual who was very rich in the spirit of the Lord.
Shirley is survived by three sisters and three brothers, Virginia Ramsdill, Betty (Dick) Holihan, Robert (Edna) Judd, Joyce Lang, Edward (Judy) Judd, Kenneth (Marla) Judd, and Thomas (Bev) Judd; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, John Judd. Shirley will be missed by Yudi, Sophie, and JayJay.
Funeral service will take place at 12:00 noon Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at the W. L. Case Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. William Bodnar will officiate with burial in Wildwood Cemetery, Chesaning, MI. Friends may call at the Case Chapel on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
