Shirley L. Novak

Novak, Shirley L. Saginaw, MI Passed away Monday, April 29, 2013, at St. Mary's of Michigan at the age of 87. Shirley was born July 12, 1925, in Corunna, MI to the late Charles and Ellen (Haley) McNamara. She married Bernard Novak on January 17, 1971. He predeceased her on November 26, 2008. She retired from Jacobsons. She is survived by many nieces and nephews; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Susie Novak; and step-son, Tom (Susie) Novak. She was predeceased by her siblings, Frances Alden, Edward McNamara, Tom McNamara, Jim McNamara, Robert McNamara, and Grace Pilot. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2013, at St. George Catholic Church 2120 Erie St. Fr. Daniel Roa will officiate with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at W.L. Case & Company 5700 Dixie Highway on Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again at church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Saginaw County Humane Society.
