Shirley May Latty (Latta)

Shirley May Latty (Latta) Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016, at Covenant-Cooper at the age of 86 years. Shirley was born May 22, 1929, in Detroit to the late Edwin and June Stewart. She married Herman Roy Latty on May 28, 1949; he predeceased her on September 27, 2013. She worked for U.S. Graphite for 18 years. Shirley loved BINGO, shopping, attending the casino, watching Family Feud, cleaning her house, and ironing. She will be missed by her children, Randy Roy Latty, Sue (Jeff Berthume) Catterfeld, John (Rhonda Hollingsworth) Latty; grandchildren, Jonathon (Kendra) Latty, Samantha Catterfeld, Caitlyn Catterfeld, Matthew Latty, Jessica (Ryan) Root, and Lucas Wilson; great-grandchildren, Lina May Recker and Chase Steven Recker; siblings, Geraldine (Donald) Parker, Carol (Dick) Wagner, Donna Zagorski, and Robert (Lois) Stewart; and her sister-in-law, Norma Stewart. She was predeceased by her brothers, Dennis Stewart and Donald Stewart. Memorial services will take place at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2016, at W.L. Case & Company 201 N. Miller Road. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 5:30 p.m. until the time of service.
