Sienna Mary (Wendling) Bierlein

Bierlein, Sienna Mary (Wendling) Saginaw, Michigan Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at her home. Age 70 years. Sienna Mary Wendling was born September 18, 1945, in Saginaw, the daughter of Mary (Sturtz) Wendling and the late Harold Wendling. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School with the Class of 1963. She married Thomas L. Bierlein on April 11, 1964, celebrating 51 years of marriage this past April. Sienna enjoyed going to the casinos, reading her Kindle and going to movies. She especially loved following her grandchildren's sports events. Surviving are her husband, Thomas Bierlein; her children, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren: daughter, Jill and Paul Vasold, and their children, Cheyenne, Jacob and Joseph Vasold, and great-grandchildren, Parker and Abigayle; son, Jeffrey and Tracey Bierlein, and their sons, Jeramey Bierlein (significant other, Megan Keyser) and Drew Wagner; her mother, Mary Wendling; her mother-in-law, Lois Bierlein; her brother and sister, Jerry and Betty Wendling and Nancy and Merritt Wiley; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mike and Kathy Bierlein, Ron and Joyce Bierlein, Gayle Bierlein, Kate and Brian Bailey; many nieces, nephews and their families; a dear friend and cousin, Robert Cooper. She was predeceased by her father, Harold Wendling, father-in-law, Robert Bierlein, and brother-in-law, Gary Bierlein. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road, where her family will receive friends from 2:00 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and then on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in St. Andrew Cemetery.
