Stephanie Sue Kobe of Saginaw, Michigan Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at her home. She was 43 years old. Stephanie Sue Kobe was born on February 17, 1976, in Bay City, Michigan to the late William Rolland and Diane Theresa (Crowl) Kobe, Sr. She married William Leroy Smith, Sr.; he preceded her in death. Stephanie was of the Islamic Faith. She enjoyed bowling, fishing and Crocheting. She absolutely loved working with plastic canvas and was a gifted poet and was proud to have a book of her poems published. Stephanie adored all of her pets. Above all, she loved and cherished her family and friends. Stephanie will forever be remembered for kind, loving and generous heart. Surviving are one daughter, Josiette Angelic-Lee Petrimoulx of Saginaw; one granddaughter, Scarlotte Rose Petrimoulx of Saginaw; one sister, Tammie Lee (Mansour) Yasin of Essexville, MI. Also surviving are many additional family and friends. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Aurora Lynne Stafford; her parents William and Diane Kobe. Honoring Stephanies wishes a private funeral service has taken place at the Islamic Center of Saginaw, 4330 N. Center Road, Saginaw. Imam Safawan Eid officiated. Arrangements were entrusted to the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Home, 4480 Mackinaw Road. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Islamic Center of Saginaw.
