Rivera, Steve Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015 due to injuries sustained in an accident, age 50 years. Steve was born in Saginaw, Michigan May 30, 1964 the son of Linda (Martinez) and the late Pedro Rivera. He married Lisa Vela May 30, 2005 and she survives him. Steve loved to listen to Oldies and Santana. He was a tattoo artist and enjoyed staying in shape by working out. Steve is survived by his wife, Lisa Rivera; his mother, Linda Martinez; his step-mother, Tina Rivera ;his grandmother, Theresa Estrada; 8 children, Steve Rivera, Jr., Benessica Rivera, Anastacia Rivera, Miranda Rivera, Celia Rivera, Augustine Rivera, Estrella Rivera and Candace Vela Garza; 33 grandchildren including Carlos Vela; two great-grandchildren; five brothers, Sergio Martinez, Pedro Rivera, Jr., Santino Rivera, Bobby Rivera and Gary Martinez; two sisters, Erlinda Rivera and Rhonda Rivera; a Godson, Benito Castanon. He was predeceased by his father, Pedro; grandfathers, Joe Martinez and Salvador Rivera; three aunts, Esther Rivera, Jessica Rivera and Benita Martinez. The funeral service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2015 at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral chapel Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until time of the service.
