Steven A. Andrus

Andrus, Steven A. Saginaw, MI Loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at home surrounded by his family at the age of 59 years. The son of Lester and the late Joyce (Koeplinger) Andrus was born on September 23, 1953 in Saginaw. He married Debra Yuncker on May 6, 1978; she survives him. Steven retired from Gase Baking Company in 2002 after 31 years of service. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Steven enjoyed bowling, camping, riding his Harley motorcycle, going to the movies and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving besides his wife Debra, are their children; Matthew and his wife, Michelle Andrus, Jennifer and her husband, Kent Payne, grandchildren, Caleb and Addison Payne, his father Lester Andrus, mother-in-law Joyce Yuncker, three brothers and many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father-in-law Richard Yuncker. Funeral liturgy will take place at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 17, 2012 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 5376 State St. Fr. Randy Kelly will officiate with burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday at W. L. Case and Company, Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 2:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. where a vigil will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friends may then visit at the church on Monday from 12:00 noon until the time of the funeral liturgy.
