Sue Ann Gunther (Schark) Saginaw, Michigan Beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and friend passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at St. Marys Hospital surrounded by her family. Age 68 years. Sue was born December 28, 1948 in Saginaw to Betty J. (MacFarlane) Schark and the late Donald J. Schark. She was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School, Class of 1967. She was a member of the Polish Falcons of America, Nest 124; the Loyal Order of the Moose #82. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was always so giving and loving to all the kids in the family. She loved taking rides up to Tawas, walking the dock, and shopping through the town. She had a special knack for decorating and flower arranging. She was a great cook and enjoyed playing cards. She especially loved her dog Bella. Sue will be dearly missed by her Mother, Betty J. Schark, her children and their spouses, Dale (Lina) Gunther, Scott (Krissa) Gunther; her grandchildren, Scott Jr. and Aaron Gunther, Olivia Bloom, Kate (Michael) Bloom; her great grandchildren, Abigail and Garrett; her sister and brother-in-law, Barbara (Ferdy) Meier; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald (Debbie) Schark; Jeffery (Mary) Schark; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Schark, all of Saginaw, MI; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her father she was predeceased by a brother, David A. Schark and her mother-in-law, Lorretta Setty. In accordance with Sues wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at First United Methodist Church, 4790 Gratiot. Saginaw, MI. Rev. Amy Terhune will officiate.
