Sue F. (LaFond/Westphal) Kline

Kline, Sue F. (LaFond/Westphal) Sterling, MI formerly of Saginaw Passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2013, at her home at the age of 69. Sue was born June 8, 1944, in Saginaw to the late Francis "Ave" and Mary (Marz) LaFond. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1962. She retired from General Motors in 1997 after 25 years of service. She married Ronald Kline on August 13, 1982. On May 3, 2013, her marriage was blessed by Father Jerry Hurko of St. James Church of Whittemore. She enjoyed fishing, bowling, watching the Detroit Tigers, and monthly gatherings with friends and her grandchildren. She leaves behind her husband Ronald; her children, Troy (Renee) Westphal, Stacy (Ron) Hart, Christopher (Kim) Westphal, Jamie (Tim) Westphal-Williams, Holly Sue (David) Salgado; step-children, Tracey Thie, Carrie Sakow, Ronald (Tiffany) Kline; 23 grandchildren; sisters, Jo Ann (Louie) Gerard and Sharon Murray; sisters-in-law, Patty (Mark) Hugelm, Lorie (Jim) Brunette, and Jan Cavanaugh; brother-in-law, John (Stacy) Cavanaugh; many nieces and nephews; and good friend Joyce (Tom) Janish. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sister Mary Denise Coven; an infant brother; brothers-in-law, Donald Coven, Robert Murray, and Robert Kline; mother-in-law, Irene (Roll) Cavanaugh; sister-in-law, Julie Deyarmond. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2013, at W.L. Case & Company 201 N. Miller Road. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
