Adams, Susan E. Saginaw, Michigan Cherished and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 after a brave struggle with cancer. She married Bob Adams on August 28, 1970; he survives her. Susan's work career began at the law firm of Bright, LeFevre & Maturen as a high school co-op where she put her keen grammar skills to work. A 30 year career followed with secretarial positions at Michigan Bell Telephone Co., Wickes Co., Michigan Bean Shippers Assoc. and Greenstone Farm Credit Services. She treasured this calling and devoted herself entirely to those roles. A kind, gentle and giving spirit, Susan was grateful for her blessings in life and had no desire for material possessions. Susan didn't need or want for more than to be with her family and friends. Throughout her life, she pursued inner peace, strength, and a quiet, calm, environment. Her emotional strength was unshakeable and inspiring. She was a rock to her family and friends. Susan made life easier for others by not finding fault, demanding or complaining. She enjoyed cooking for her family, reading a good book while sitting in the sun, Detroit Tigers Baseball, animals and music. Susan effortlessly recalled lyrics to countless songs especially those she sang to Audrey and Olivia. Susan was also a devoted caregiver to her late parents and her sister Dee.
