Susan Elayne Tunnicliff

Susan Elayne Tunnicliff, age 63, of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on January 21, 2025. 

Susan was born on March 24, 1961, the daughter of the late Ruben Delacruz and Sally (Mendez) Delacruz. She was a proud graduate of Arthur Hill High School, class of 1980, and worked as a home health aide throughout her career. 

Susan found joy in many hobbies, including reading and spending quality time with her cherished family. She loved traveling throughout Michigan, taking pleasure in camping, fishing, and hiking. Her passion for baking was well-known among family and friends, and her cakes were a staple at gatherings, always made with love and attention to detail.

She is survived by her beloved children, Bethany and Russell Mawby, Alicia Tunnicliff and Dale Rogers, and Aaron and Charity Murray; five grandchildren, Andrew Mawby, William Mawby, Elizabeth Bunn and her fiancé Zatheial Parks, Elayna Mawby, and Celest Mawby; siblings, Yolanda and Javier Charles, Deborah and Furman Dallas, Esteban and Dawn Delacruz, Ruben Delacruz, Ricardo and Debra Delacruz, and Michael and Colleen Delacruz; loved ones whom she raised as her children, David Cruz and Pamela Carter, along with many other special kids; and her best friend, Paul Howey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruben and Sally (Mendez) Delacruz; three grandchildren, Joseph Mawby, Trinity Mawby, and Michael Wright; siblings Lea Mendez, Sandra Cruz, and Raul Cruz; and her partner in life, Robert Doerr. 

Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at W.L.
