Suzanne E. Steve

Steve, Suzanne Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Monday July 1, 2013 at the James E. Cartwright Care Center at the age of 92 years. Suzanne was born September 18, 1920 in Saginaw Michigan the daughter of the late Neim and Minna (Schmidke) Ferris. She married Ralph Steve August 12, 1940. He predeceased her June 22, 1985. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church 2nd and Federal and the Ladies Aide. She was a 20 year volunteer for Covenant hospital. Suzanne was an Altrusa Club recipient. Surviving are a daughter Sandra (John) Fordney; three grandchildren John (Karrie) Fordney II; Jim (Katie) Fordney; Jennifer (Scott) McGregor; nine great-grandchildren; Joseph, Abe, Jacob, Ben, Claire, Hunter, Ethan, Hope and Luke. One sister, Jeanne Schwinck, predeceased her. Funeral service will take place 1:00 p.m. Wednesday July 3, 2013 at the W.L. Case funeral Chapel 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Saginaw Rev. Douglas Kahl will officiate with entombment to follow in Oakwood Mausoleum. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
