Tamara (Tammy) Ann Fleming, 59, Merrill passed away unexpectedly September 28, 2018. She was born in Saginaw on July 26, 1959 to Gerald and Wanda (Keel) Mallery. After earning her associates degree from Delta College, she worked as a dental hygienist for several years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, supporting her adopted son Jacob's sporting events, as well as her two grandsons, JW and Luke's, hobbies and school activities. She was also an avid reader. Tammy is survived by her parents, Gerald and Wanda Mallery; her adopted son, Jacob Fleming, her two daughters Emily and Kenneth Hoyt and Sarah Fleming; her grandsons James and Luke Hoyt; her sister and brother-in-law Cathy and Fred Naessens and their family. Per Tammy's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel in Merrill with Rev. Richard Gossett officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Tammy's family requests donations be made to the Merrill Youth Football program and Merrill Little League Baseball. Tammy will be fondly remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, caring daughter, and loyal friend. She was warm and outgoing, often making lasting impressions upon everyone, even those she only met briefly. She will be greatly missed by her family.
