Tamera Maturen

Maturen, Tamera Saginaw, Township Passed away Friday, February 22, 2013 at home at the age of 50 years. Tamera was born October 29, 1962 in Fort Gordon, GA. the daughter of Ronald and Suzanne (Sieb) Cooper. Tamera married Gary T. Maturen June 9, 1984 and he survives her. She was a loving mother who adored her children. Tamera was a member of First United Methodist Church, and had a strong faith and belief in the Lord that inspired everyone around her. She taught others through her determination and courage as she applied her theology to life. Surviving besides her husband Gary are their four children; Stacy (Andrew) Sharrow; Aaron (Erin Ciesielski) Maturen, Jena Maturen and Tyler Maturen; one grandchild; Alexa Sharrow; Tamera's parents Ronald and Suzanne Cooper, one brother and one sister; Ronald (Jennifer) Cooper, and Jill Cooper; a mother-in-law Beverly Maturen; two sisters-in-law and brother-in-law; Jody (Alin "Cliff") Clifford, Andrea (Keegan) Schlake, Bill (Amy) Maturen; her step-mother, Marti Maturen; Her father-in-law William Maturen predeceased her. She was a wonderful aunt to her nieces and nephews; Jacob, Rachel, Rebecca, Bryanna, Caleb, Seth, and Devi. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at First United Methodist Church, 4790 Gratiot Saginaw Rev. Kathryn S. Snedeker will officiate with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the W.L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel 4480 Mackinaw Rd. on Sunday 6:00-9:00 p.m. and Monday from 2:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. and then at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
