Beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020, at Covenant HealthCare – Harrison. He was 66 years old. Terry Dean Sawatzki was born on November 28, 1953, to the late Leo Frank and Grace Marie (Tagget) Sawatzki. He was a proud 1972 graduate of Bridgeport Community High School. Following graduation, Terry began a long career as a very gifted and talented carpenter, as well as working as a construction worker. He was a faithful member of Bridgeport Baptist Church. Above all, Terry was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed both hunting and fishing and will forever be remembered by those he loved for his big heart.
Surviving are two sons and a daughter: Christopher Michael Sawatzki of Wasilla, AK; Jeremy Lee Sawatzki of Flint; Melanie Marie Sawatzki of Kentucky; two brothers: Harold (Mary) Sawatzki of Saginaw; Timothy Sawatzki of Saginaw; nieces and nephews:
He was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin (Betty) Sawatzki.
Honoring Terry’s wishes cremation has taken place. Due to the worldwide health pandemic, no services are planned.
