Theodore “Teddy” Kanuszewski II
Hemlock, Michigan
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at his home, with his family at his side; at the age of 66 years.
The son of Theodore and Patricia (Thomas) Kanuszewski, Ted was born on November 21, 1955 in Saginaw, Michigan. He attended St. Charles Community Schools. Ted married the love of his life, Terry Miller on May 19, 1984 at the Hemlock United Methodist Church, Hemlock, Michigan. They shared 38 wonderful years together. She survives him. Ted was a member and was devoted to the maintenance of the Hemlock United Methodist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved nature, including hunting, fishing, and picking morel mushrooms. Above all, Ted cherished the time spent with his family, especially being outdoors with his children and grandchildren. Ted will fondly be remembered for coaching his sons and having a larger-than-life personality.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife: Terry Kanuszewski; one daughter and three sons: Tania Stoddard, Daniel Kanuszewski, Brian (Summer) Kanuszewski, Joseph (Rachel) Kanuszewski; grandchildren: Natalie, Sunni, Meadow, Forest, Pearl; his parents: Theodore and Patricia Kanuszewski; one sister and three brothers: Debbie Yates, Terry (Holly) Kanuszewski, Matt (Patty) Kanuszewski, Patrick (Christine) Kanuszewski; three brothers-in-laws: Robert Miller, Ronald (Shirley) Miller, Steven Miller (Susan Bow); his beloved dog: Scout. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Ted was preceded in death by his brother: Mark Kanuszewski; his parents-in-law: Oliver and Irene Miller.
Honoring Ted’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2022 at Four Points Church, Hemlock United Methodist Church. Friends may visit with the family at church from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Hemlock United Methodist Church.
