Theresa Ann Walter

Our loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. Age 64 years.

Theresa was born on April 27, 1958, daughter of the late Bob and Evelyn Wolverton, in Flint. She married the love of her life, Jim Walter on February 13, 1993. He survives her. Theresa retired from Covenant Healthcare after many years of dedicated service as a Unit Secretary. She also assisted Jim working on their farm. Theresa loved everything crafting. She had her own craft shed, where she would spend countless hours putting her skills to work. She enjoyed gardening and going on casino trips. Theresa was a protective, loving and nurturing mother. She enjoyed raising her children, grandchildren and making precious memories with them. She truly put her heart into everything she did.

Surviving are her husband of 30 years, Jim Walter; children, Jennifer (Jay) Jubenville, Gene Godley and Robert (Cayla) Godley; grandchildren, Desire, Dakota, Deonte, Kaden, Madelyn and Isaac; great grandson, Lynkiin; brothers and sisters, Chris (Tammy) Wolverton, Karen Nowosislosky, Robin Wolverton, Sandy (Marty) Hnatiuk and John (Julie) Wolverton; also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at W. L. Case and Company, 125 E. Saginaw, Merrill. Rev. David Mielke will officiate. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday at the chapel from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
