Theresa Elizabeth Jerome

Theresa E. Jerome Bridgeport, Michigan Passed away Thursday, July 31, 2014, at the Cartwright Care Residence. Age 87 years. The daughter of the late Theresa (Willing) and Harry Willis was born February 9, 1927 in Saginaw. She married Douglas J. Jerome, December 15, 1945. He passed away May 20, 2005. She worked with her husband in their business, Jerome Electric. She was a member of Bridgeport Community Church. She enjoyed making Teddy Bears, spending winters in Florida and with her husband, traveling the world. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Betty Jerome; two grandchildren and their spouses, Scott and Carrie Jerome; Holli and Robert Kostick; three great grandchildren, Clayton, Justin, and Kendra; two brothers and a sister, Norman Willis, Gerald Willis, Dorothy Erskine; several nieces and nephews. A son, John Jerome, predeceased her. In accordance with Mrs. Jerome's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Hwy. Rev. Ronald Sinclair will officiate. Memorial visit will be held from 2:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday.
