Therese "Terry" C. Dupuis of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Bickford Assisted Living in Saginaw. Therese C. Pelletier was born on September 15, 1928, in Bay City, Michigan, to the late Oscar J. and Laura E. (Janness) Pelletier. She was a proud graduate of St. Mary High School. Her love story began in high school, when her brother introduced her to the love of her life, Lawrence J. Dupuis. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on September 2, 1950, in Saginaw; he preceded her in death on October 12, 2007. She worked in retail before taking on the role of her lifetime, becoming a mother and dedicating her life to raising her family. Therese was a longtime and faithful member of St. Andrew Catholic Church. She also volunteered with Abortion Alternatives through the Catholic Diocese of Saginaw. Later in life, Therese began working with the family business, B & H Market in Saginaw. She was an avid reader and loved traveling with her husband, Larry, especially to her favorite destination, Mackinaw City. She left her indelible mark in this world with grace, dignity and reverence, for the love and care she had for all she loved, and for always finding the good in all people.
Surviving are six children: Catherine (Thomas) Griffin of Lansing; Michelle Kyle of Saginaw; Suzanne (Joseph) Ferriell of Saginaw; Mary (James) Hartner of Owosso; Nanette (Brad) Fox of Saginaw; Ellyn Dupuis and her fiancé, Scott Leamann of Saginaw; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jane Pelletier. Also surviving are many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
