Thomas Emil Frollo Hemlock, Michigan Passed away Monday, March 7, 2016, at Covenant Harrison. Age 88 years. The son of the late Thomas M. and Catherine (Hrenko) Frollo was born June 24, 1927 in Hemlock. He married Donna May Hartung, January 19, 1957. His wife of 59 years survives him. Thomas served with the U.S. Army in Germany following WWII and was a Life member of the Hemlock-Merrill V.F.W. Post 7302. He engaged in farming in the Hemlock area all of his life and was also employed by Dow Chemical Company retiring in 1982 with 35 years of service. He was a member of St. John XXIII Parish- St. Mary in Hemlock. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, going to the casino and horse racing. Most of all, he enjoyed his family and the Fourth of July celebrations with family and friends around the Frollo Pond. Surviving are two daughters, two sons and their spouses, Sue and Mark Thumser; Gary and Lori Frollo; Ken and Rhonda Frollo; Julie and Mark Crelly; 10 grandchildren and their spouses, Josh and Brandy Bell; Angie and Paul Bailey; Nicole and Jon DeCarney; Matthew and Tina Frollo; Bethany and Sam Sysak; Tommy Frollo; Jim and Ashley Welch; Ethan, Grace and Nolan Crelly; 10 great grandchildren, Angelique and Hope Bell; Cora Bailey; Leili and Dylan Frollo; Cole and Claire Sysak; Claire Frollo; Logan and Wyatt Welch; his sisters and brothers, Ann Zimmer, Martin and Cathy Frollo, Josephine Meyers; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 3 brothers and 5 sisters, Stephen Frollo, Elsie Orin, Emma Bartz, Mary Frollo, Joseph Frollo and Viola Oliver, Helen Frollo and William John Frollo. In accordance with Mr. Frollo's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial funeral liturgy will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2016, at St. John XXIII Parish- St. Mary in Hemlock, 151 St. Mary Dr. Hemlock. Rev. Fr. Dennis J. Kucharczyk will officiate with military honors under the auspices of the Hemlock-Merrill V.F.W. Post # 7302. Friends may call at the Church from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of the memorial service.
