DeVeaux, Thomas F. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Tuesday May 8, 2018 at the age of 68 years. He was born February 16, 1950, in Saginaw, the son of the late William and Elizabeth (Bellinger) DeVeaux. He graduated from Saginaw High School with the Class of 1968. He served with the US Navy Reserves. He had been employed by General Motors - Grey Iron Foundry for over 35 years, retiring in 2000. He was a member of the Catholic Faith. He also was a volunteer firefighter with the Saginaw Township Volunteer Fire Department, Tom was an active member of the Knights of Columbus, Father Nouvel Council # 4232. He was an avid Detroit Tigers baseball fan, and coached and played fast-pitch softball. He enjoyed horses the outdoors and visiting with his grandchildren. He married Patricia Bartels on August 19, 1995, she survives him. He also leaves three daughters and their spouses, Michelle (Matt) Kubiak, Jennifer (Tom) Smallwood, and Kari (Dustin) Leach; one step-son, William Bartels; eight grandchildren, Lauren and Ryan Kubiak, Hannah and Brady Smallwood, Aubrie, Abigail and Annabelle Leach, and Cassandra Bartels; two sisters and one brother, Carmen (John) Sonefeld, Keith DeVeaux and Christine (John) Bergey; several nieces, nephews and their families. He was predeceased by a grandson, William P. Bartels Jr. The family would like to thank the staff of Covenant Select Specialty Hospital for the care they provided to Tom. Toms family will receive friends at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday May 10, 2018.
