Thomas G. "Ernie" Coe

Thomas G. "Ernie" Coe St. Charles, Michigan Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother passed away on October 19, 2017, at the age of 56 years. Ernie was born December 29, 1960, in Saginaw. He married Dawn Workman on August 23, 1979; she survives him. He worked for Covenant Healthcare for 36 years in the Maintenance Department. He enjoyed baking, cooking, fishing and going up north to "the shack". Most of all he cherished the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. Besides his wife, Dawn, Ernie will be missed by his children, Rebekah Coe, Rachel (Peter) Bissett, and Jessica (Clifton) Bradley; grandchildren, Claire, Alyssa, Kylie, Khalil, and Mylah; his mother Isabelle (Fila) Coe; siblings, Susan (Robert) Spreeman, Shirley (David) Coe-Beck, Sally (Gary) Wallace, Bonnie (Keith) Basner, Timothy (Barb) Coe, Terrance (Mary) Coe, David (Jennifer) Coe, Julie Coe, Jill (Panshula) Ganeshan, and Jason (Lydea) Coe; his mother-in-law, Amelia Workman; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was predeceased by his father, Gerald Coe; and his father-in-law, Verle Workman. A Memorial Mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at St. Dominic Parish St. Stephen Catholic Church at 2711 Mackinaw Rd. Fr. Steve Gavit will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
