Thomas M. Comstock Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved husband, father, son, brother, and uncle went home to the Lord on Friday, February 5, 2016, at the age of 55 years. Thomas was born May 19, 1960, in Saginaw. He graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1978. Thomas married Yvonne Hohisel on October 29, 1988; she survives him. He was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Helen Church and was active on the dcor committee. He loved spending time with his family, woodworking, his 1957 Chevy, and drag racing. He had a quick wit and tremendous sense of humor. He enjoyed making people laugh. He loved dogs especially his princess Samantha, Millie Moo, and French. He will be dearly missed by his wife Yvonne, children, Tobias (Nadine Mihr) Gumpert and Janine (Robert Hohlfeld) Gumpert; grandson, Arthur Gumpert; his mother Joan (Green) Comstock; siblings, Patricia Comstock and James Comstock; nephews and niece, Spencer (Michelle) Fodczuk, Rose (Preston) Sutton, Sam (Ashley) Piwarski; his special german brother and sister, Peter and Silke Gumpert; sisters-in-law, Carol (Kenneth) Leaym and Gloria (Craig) Towns; his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and his very dear German family and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Jack Comstock and sister-in-law, Darlene Hugel. According to his wishes cremation has taken place. A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2016, at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Helen Church. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
