Passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 5, 2021. Age 59 years.
Tom was born in Taylor, Michigan to Robert Wallschlager and Jacquelyn Wallschlager Altman on February 28, 1962. He graduated from Carrollton High School, Class of 1980. He was a carpet installer for many years. He had a love for NASCAR. His all-time favorite driver was Bill Elliott (Awesome Bill from Dawsonville) Besides NASCAR, he also enjoyed his R/C cars, fishing, the Michigan Wolverines and the New England Patriots. He also enjoyed watching 24 hours of Christmas Story every year during the holiday season.
He is survived by his son, Chase Wallschlager; his daughter, Paige Fuller (Charles); his brother, Timothy (Cathy) Wallschlager; his sisters, Tammy Goulding, all of Saginaw, MI; Tracy Oszust (Bobby) Ithaca, MI; Tara (Paul) Biggers, DeWitt, MI; his nieces and nephews, Nicole (Jeff) Supinger, Saginaw, MI; Travis Wallschlager Saginaw, MI; Ashley (Anthony) Mahoney, Freeland, MI; Kaitlyn Kellogg; Daniel Kellogg; Paul
Goulding; James Goulding Jr. (Shana) all of Saginaw, MI; Jacob Oszust, Elwell, MI; Jack Yaklin (Jessica); Triston Yaklin, both of Ithaca, MI; Dylan Biggers; Isabelle Biggers, both of DeWitt, MI; many great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Tom was predeceased by his mother, Jacquelyn Altman, his stepfather, John (Jack) Altman, his nephew, Allen Wallschlager, a niece, Lauryn Mentus and his grandparents on both sides.
The funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 12, 2021, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Nathan Workman will officiate. Friends may visit with family from Noon Monday until the time of the funeral service.
