Timothy Guiette,
Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and brother passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday July 7, 2020 at the age of 74. Timothy was born on January 6, 1946 to the late James and Margaret (Stuart) Guiette Jr. in Saginaw. He was a graduate of Carrollton High School, class of 1964. On July 31, 2015 he married Carol Schneider in Saginaw, they spent 15 wonderful years together.
Timothy was a machine repairman, he retired from Bay Cast in 2010. He was a member of the DAV Post 94 of Midland. Timothy enjoyed woodworking, he mostly made furniture and birdhouses but was a man of many talents when it came to woodworking. He enjoyed Harley Davidson’s and even built his own. As an avid sports fan he enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers and Lions football. Above all he was a family man and cherished his time spent with those he loved.
Timothy is survived by his wife Carol, his son Timothy Guiette Jr, his stepdaughters Michelle (Bryan) Miller, Laura (Harold) Lang, Amy Bunker and his grandchildren Rachel and Tyson Guiette. He is also survived by his brothers James (Rachel) Guiette, Michael (Jamie) Guiette and his sisters Nancy (Doug) Netzel and Debra (Bill Eddy) Diveley as well as many nieces and nephews.
Interment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 11:00 am. Military honors will take place under the auspices of the United States Army. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday July 12, 2020 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at W. L. Case and Company (4480 Mackinaw Road).
