Beloved husband, father, and brother passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at his home, with his wife by his side. He was 73 years old. Timothy Thomas Novak was born on August 18, 1945 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Michael G. and Helen R. (Sizick) Novak. He was a 1963 graduate of Holy Rosary High School. Following graduation, Tim began working for his parents at Novak Donuts. He also proudly enlisted in the Army Reserves. After a couple of years, Tim attended trade school where he gained the skill as a sheet metal worker. He worked in various manufacturing companies over the years and retired in 1990. He met and married the love of his life, Ines Ramos, on May 27 1988; she survives him. While working in New York City, Tim had the awesome opportunity to work on the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the Rockefeller Center, the World Trade Center and the Chrysler buildings. Tim was a very creative and inventive man. He could make anything out of recyclables. He will forever be remembered for his dry, yet funny sense of humor.
Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Ines Ramos of Saginaw; a son, Dustin Novak of Atlanta, GA; a sister-in-law, Gloria Trogan Novak of Saginaw; two brothers and two sisters, Norman E. Novak and his friend, Linda of Bridgeport, Gloria (Jim) Novak Platko of Saginaw, Cliff Novak of Saginaw and Gayle LaPointe. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Novak; and a brother-in-law, Richard LaPointe.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Ascension St. Marys 5th floor south and to Heartland Home Health Care and Hospice for all the love and care they provided to Tim.
