LaDouce, Troy James Hemlock, Michigan Loving husband, father, uncle, son and dear friend passed away suddenly, Monday, February 10, 2014 at the age of 43 years. The son of Robert E. and Sandra (Klemish) LaDouce was born on November 20, 1970. He married Teresa Ann Niersel on September 17, 1994; she survives him. After attending Ferris State University he worked in the construction industry for his whole career. He enjoyed working with wood and admiring his finished product. Troy was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hemlock. An avid outdoorsmen, Troy enjoyed hunting, fishing, cutting wood and camping. He loved family vacations to Drummond Island and Derby Lake each year. Troy also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends in his beloved pole barn. Surviving are his wife, Teresa and their children: Mitchel James LaDouce, Mason Troy LaDouce, his parents Robert and Sandra, his nephew and niece whom he considered to be his children: Jordan Michael LaDouce, Jylyssa Kayee LaDouce, his mother-in-law and step father-in-law, Mable (John) Locke, father-in-law and step mother-in-law, Ken (Mary) Niersel, brothers-in-law: Todd (Kim) Niersel, Tyson (Shanon) Niersel, nieces: Sarah LaDouce, Sydney LaDouce, Jasmin Niersel, Spencer Niersel, his grandmother Genevieve McKeage, many aunts, uncles, cousins including his special aunts and uncles: Judy (Keith) Schramm, James (Marilyn) LaDouce, Richard (Barbara) LaDouce, and many other loved relatives and friends, including his best friend John Jungnitsch. Troy also leaves behind his dogs, Maggie and Minnie. Troy was predeceased by a brother Robert Edward LaDouce, Jr. and a sister Jill Marie LaDouce. Memorial service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2014 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 2461 N. Raucholz Rd. Rev. Richard E. Mundt and Rev. Dr. William L. Morris will officiate. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. and at church on Sunday from 12:00 noon until the time of the memorial service.
