Twila E. McGray (Tappen)

McGray, Twila E.(Tappen) Saginaw, MI Passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at her home, age 87 years. Twila was born February 8, 1926 in Titusville, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Percy and Hulda (Douglass) Prather. She married Larry McGray November 2, 2002 and he survives her. Twila loved crocheting, paint-by-numbers, crossword puzzles, collecting dolls and watching sports events with her husband. In addition to her husband, Twila is survived by six children, Lawrence (Carolyn) Tappen, Jr., James (Nancy) Tappen, George (Corina) Tappen, Robert (Cheri) Tappen, Patricia (Sonny) Rausch and Susan (Larry) Rolka; two step-children, Larry and Jeremy Karkanen; 22 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; two brothers, George and Herbert Prather; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters. The funeral service will take place 4:00 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 2013 at W. L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate. Friends may visit with the family at the chapel Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service.
