Geiger, Una H. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away June 13, 2016 at HealthSource Saginaw where she had resided for 3 years. Una Hilda Wagenknecht, daughter of Fritz and Emma Wagenknect, was born on June 9, 1920 in Brighton, Michigan. She was married to Reverand Paul W. Geiger on June 3rd, 1945 in St. George Lutheran Church, Brighton, Michigan where he was serving as pastor. He predeceased her March 25, 1990. She was baptized and confirmed at St. George Lutheran Church and after moving to Saginaw in 1957 became a member of Zion Lutheran Church and later of Resurrection Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church Women and its circles. Surviving are one son and two daughters, Thomas P. Geiger, Kathy A. Geiger, Susan E. Sanford and her husband Keith; four grandchildren, Joel Geiger and his wife Heather, Stephanie Lelo and her husband Anthony, April and Christopher Sanford; five great grandchildren, Sarah and Kate Geiger, Maggie and Teddy Lelo, Rylen Portner; Joel and Stephanie's mother Patricia Geiger; one niece and one nephew and their families. Funeral services will take place at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 2110 Brockway St, Saginaw MI at 11AM, Friday, June 17, 2016. Pastor Tim Bender will officiate with internment at Oakwood Mausoleum. Friends may call at the Case Funeral Home, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI on Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 4PM-8PM and at the church from 10AM until time of service.
