Vera M. Andersen

Vera M. Andersen (Bunterbart) Hemlock, Michigan Passed away Friday, April 12, 2019, at Samaritas Saginaw. Age 87 years. The daughter of the late Hattie (Diener) and Louis Kade was born May 1, 1931 in Richland Township, Michigan. She married Otto M. Andersen, April 29, 1972. He passed away January 13, 1999. She was employed by Midland Federal (later Wolverine Federal) Bank, retiring with 30 years of service. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church and enjoyed reading. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Louise Bunterbart; two grandchildren, Lynn Bunterbart and her fianc, Todd Fox, Dan and Angela Bunterbart; a great grandson, Oakley Bunterbart; her step-children, Diane Nielsen, Wayne and Marcy Andersen, Steven and Tamela Andersen, Pamela and Ron Minton, Gaelyne Gasson; Mike and Cindy Moranec; her step-grandchildren, Loree Pollack, Christine Nielsen-Kirby, Todd Nielsen, Jennifer Andersen, Terry and Jennifer Andersen, Kerstin and Evan LaCross, Christopher and Kelsie Moranec, Michael Minton, Kelsey Minton, Valiant and Stuart Briggs; several step-great grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Melvin Winslow; three sisters-in-law, Carol, Jean and Doris Kade; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by granddaughter, Heather Andersen and by four brothers, Marvin, Bernard, Elmer, and Harold Kade, and one sister, Mildred Winslow. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2019, at St. Peter Lutheran Church 2461 N. Raucholz Rd. Hemlock. Rev. Dr. William L. Morris and Rev. Richard E. Mundt will officiate with burial in Richland Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. from 1:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday and then at the church from 10:00 a.m. Monday until the time of the funeral service.
