Verda Parkin Reeve

Reeve, Verda Parkin Saginaw, Michigan Died peacefully in her sleep at home Monday, May 19, 2014. Age 93 years. Verda was born in Salt Lake City, Utah August 21, 1920, and married Perc A. Reeve, Sept. 3, 1942, in the Salt Lake City Utah Temple. She resided in Saginaw for 72 years and leaves behind a legacy of love, a foundation of faith, and a tradition of service. Her life touched many for good as she strived to live the gospel of Jesus Christ. Her husband, one brother and sister preceded her in death. She is survived by one sister, Maxine Parker, seven daughters, one son, 26 grandchildren, and 31 great grandchildren. Her children and their spouses are Sharon (Joe) Alfano, Pleasanton Calif.; Onalee (H. Steven) Wood, Highland, Utah; Shirley (Larry) Burr, Saginaw; Kaye (Chris) Wierda, Denver, Co.; Perc Wm. (Connie) Reeve, Ledyard, Ct; Ronda (Louis) Thacker, Griffin, Ga.; Susan (Rod) Kropp, Plymouth, Mi.; Amy (Brant, deceased) Day, Suwanee, Ga. The funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1415 N. Center Rd. with interment following at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at W.L. Case and Co.
